Understanding Treatment: You have a right to understand what your treatment consists of and why this treatment is recommended. You will be encouraged to be actively involved in treatment planning and will be provided with information necessary to facilitate decision making. You have a right to know who will provide the treatment, what their qualifications are, the right to refuse treatment or any specific treatment procedure, and the right to be informed of the consequences resulting from such refusal. You have the right to give or withhold informed consent regarding treatment and/or confidential information. Your treatment will be provided in the least restrictive environment.
Appointments: You have the right to be seen at the time of your appointment. We ask that you notify the receptionist when you come in and if you have waited longer than 15 minutes to see your therapist. The agency business hours accommodate all work and shift schedules. Please notify the agency 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep you appointment.

It is not Agency policy to engage in seclusion or restraint as an intervention. Intrusive procedures (pat downs, urine screens, etc) are not done by staff at MCCC. No use of alcohol, possession of alcohol or use of tobacco products is allowed in the offices of Moultrie County Counseling Center.
